Hot deserts are characterised by their high temperature and low precipitation. This course takes a deep dive into the systems and landscapes that exist within deserts, from desertification to desert erosion and the development of yardangs. We’ll also explore the impacts of human activity on deserts, to see how further impacts can be mitigated.
