From mass migration to cities to the problems that are faced as a result, you'll get a thorough tour of the issues that face cities around the world each day. From urban climate to drainage and sustainability, contemporary urban environments will introduce you to them all.

Global systems look at the relationships and processes that control the world today. Global governance refers to the organisations that help to develop relationships between countries and people. In this course, you'll explore the different systems and governance organisations and their relationship with globalisation, international trade, global norms and more. You'll also look at the global commons, in particular Antarctica.
